University Staff Performance Management Cycle
Below is general guidance on the performance management cycle, specific to Student Affairs. Please be aware that Student Affairs Human Resources may have additional internal deadlines and submission requirements that you will need to adhere to. Please check with your Student Affairs Human Resources team to ensure you are in compliance.
In July
Meet with each of your employees to create goals and go over their performance plan for the upcoming performance cycle. Once you have done this, both you and your employee will complete the Performance Planning Task in Cornerstone.
In January
Meet with each of your employees to address the employee’s progress on their goals and make edits as needed. Once you have done this, both you and your employee will complete the Coaching Task in Cornerstone.
In August
Meet with each of your employees to go over their performance plan and complete the Evaluation Task in Cornerstone. Supervisors who fail to complete the evaluations for their employees by the deadline will themselves be ineligible for merit increases
